The company’s inception can be traced back to Morten Schiff, a visionary and business angel, who acquired the patents and technology for the Variator Drive®, an electromechanical actuator central to many of Vibrationmaster’s products. This actuator is not only an intelligent vibration generator but also uniquely capable of controlling and reducing vibrations with precision.
The original mission of Vibrationmaster was assisting customers in the fastener sector to comply with the new industry standard DIN 25201-4 B. This standard defined the ‘Junker test’ for analysing the self-loosening behaviour of fasteners witnessed in the presence of transverse stress forces during operation. This test is a detailed process for vibration testing of threaded fasteners, such as screws, bolts, lock nuts and wedge washers, replacing the older standard DIN 65151 used for over four decades.
Today, Vibrationmaster offers a comprehensive range of solutions and material testing equipment for bolted joint integrity testing and analysis.
Furthermore, the company markets its intelligent Variator Drive® solution as a standalone component to industries aiming to reduce vibration and control mechanical resonance through frequency shifting.
